Touya is SAKURA'S annoying but supportive brother. He often teases Sakura and tries to make it seem like he doesn’t like her but deep down, he is very caring and would do anything just to protect Sakura. When Syaoran comes into Sakura’s life, Touya is very overprotective of Sakura as he knows that Sakura will end up with SYAORAN someday so tries to prevent the two of them getting together. Touya goes to Seijou High school which is situated right next to Sakura’s school. After school, he tends to take part in the football team or works for one of his many part time jobs.

Touya doesn’t have the most prominent of magical powers although he is able to see the ghosts and the spirit of his mother. He inherited this power from his mother. He used to scare Sakura when she was little by telling her that there were ghosts around which lead to Sakura being afraid of Ghosts. He is also able to sense at once stage that YUKITO is not really a human and from this he decides to give Yue his magical powers when he sees that Yukito is struggling to stay alive.

Touya’s best friend and closest friend is Yukito and it may be that they are more than just best friends. Touya gives Yue his magical powers in order to keep Yukito alive to keep Sakura happy and himself. By giving his magical powers to Yue, he demands that Yue will protect Sakura since he can no longer help her. Touya also had a relationship with KAHO MIZUKI for a year but they broke up when Kaho moved to England to pursue her career.

Touya may not act that the most caring of brothers but he is very kind deep down and would sacrifice his own life to save Sakura.
