Cerberus is one of my favourite characters and is very loveable in Cardcaptor Sakura. He is the guardian of the Clow cards and his main job is to protect the clow cards and to selector the next Cardcaptor. One of Cerberus’s most famous nickname is “kero-chan” although SYAORAN likes to call him a assortment of names such as “stuffed animal” etc. Kero likes to call Syaoran “little brat” and normally retaliates to Syaoran calling him names by biting his finger.

Kero isn’t a very serious guardian and tends to spend most of his time playing video games or eating. Syaoran always makes a note of his Greed. He adores cake or dessert and will shout at SAKURA if she is having sweets without him. Although TOMOYO always seems to remember to bring some cake for Kero-chan. He has a very laid back attidude and doesn’t act very responsible as he fell asleep for 30 years in the Clow book before it was opened by Sakura. Kero is very intelligent when it comes to the Clow cards and can be very important especially if Sakura needs to find out about a particular card.

Kero cares a lot for Sakura and tries his hardest to help her out or jump to her rescue. He always lends a hand and tries to comfort Sakura when things go wrong or if she is having some personal issues.

Kero is in his stuffed doll form for the majority of the series until Sakura captures the Firey and Earthy Card (only the firey card is only needed in the manga for Kero to change into his true form) and Kero is able to change into Cerberus. His true form is that of a large lion with red jewels on his head and large white wings on his back. He is able to use better attacks than his stuffed toy form such as fireballs and has the ability to use his wings as a shield.

Kero is a very comical character of the series and normally entertains everyone no matter what the situation. He is also very supportive and gives Sakura all the encouragement that she needs when capturing the Clow cards.
