Introduction
Cardcaptor Sakura is all about a ten year old girl called Sakura Kinomoto that discovers a mysterious book and is appointed the task of saving the world from the Clow cards.
Sakura is a normal ten year old, fourth grader at Tomoeda Elementary. One day when she returns from home, she hears a mysterious noise coming from her basement. Since nobody is at home, she assumes that it might be a burglar. When she goes down to the basement, she finds out that there is no one there but Sakura sees a mysterious book glowing called 'the Clow' and takes it off the shelf. As she picks the book up, to her surprise, it opens itself. She reads the first card at the top of the deck which is "WINDY". As she reads out the card’s name, all of the other cards are scattered by a mysterious wind, which WINDY caused. Kero the Guardian beast of the Clow, appears out of the front cover of the Clow Book and appoints Sakura as a Cardcaptor.
Kero tells her that since she had enough magical power to open the book therefore releasing all the cards, she must capture all the cards to prevent a disaster to the whole world. Sakura now faces her biggest challenge, to capture all of the cards whilst facing many different obstacles.
A Cardcaptor is Born!
