Chiharu is one of SAKURA'S friends and classmates in School. She participates in the Cheerleading club along with Sakura and NAOKO. She normally hangs round with Sakura, RIKA, TOMOYO and Naoko in school. Chiharu is a very sweet and kind girl who enjoys collecting stuffed toys. In the anime, we find out that her room is full of stuffed toys.

Chiharu actually has a boyfriend who is in fact TAKASHI YAMAZAKI, the liar. Chiharu is the only person that seems to see through his lies and informs Sakura that what he says is a lie. Normally, Chiharu will take Yamazaki away if he is lying. In the anime, Chiharu is very close to Yamazaki but unlike the manga, they are not stated as a couple although Yamazaki still lies.

Chiharu is one of the people that gives Sakura advice about her true feelings of love when she is unaware of her feelings for Syaoran or is a little confused. She is very polite and caring and will help out any of her friends.
